Course overview:

To develop the capability to design, implement, maintain, and evaluate a robust WHS (work, health, and safety) management system tailored for an extractive site.

The standard ensures learners can build a system that aligns with legal and operational safety requirements, fostering safe work practices, hazard identification, risk control, and continuous improvement.

It supports regulatory and competency requirements, for example, as part of the Certificate of Competence (CoC) for a Site Senior Executive (SSE) under WorkSafe.
